Trattoria 51 is set to launch its ever-popular festive menu offering in time for the Christmas holidays

Trattoria 51 set to fly the Italian flag this Christmas

The Old Hall Street eatery will be reviving a yuletide tradition with the return of its much-loved ‘Menu Verde’, ‘Menu Bianco’ and ‘Menu Rouge’ menus, available exclusively throughout the holiday season.

The trio of menus, served from December 1 – December 24, comprise a selection of classic and contemporary meat, seafood and vegetarian dishes with a flavoursome Italian twist.

General Manager and Co-Owner of Trattoria 51 Toni Karemanaj said: “After the amazing response to our colour co-ordinated menus in previous years we thought it was only right to bring back a Trattoria 51 tradition during the holidays to create an inclusive festive feel for everyone to enjoy. Each of our menus are devised with gatherings amongst friends and family in mind, with all three offering appetisers, starters, mains and delicious deserts which marry perfectly together.

“Throughout the month of December, Trattoria 51 will be transformed into a festive haven with all of our staff embracing the Christmas spirit. With this in mind, each of our menus have been carefully crafted using seasonal ingredients to really capture the festivities. To accompany our culinary offering throughout the winter months, our recently launched in-house bar has devised a selection of yuletide cocktails to really get the merriments flowing – we can’t wait to get the season in full swing!”

The ‘Menu Verde’ and ‘Menu Bianco’ boast Italian Antipasti appetisers and include delectable main dishes such as Slow Roast Pork Porchetta, Grilled Seabass Fillet with Vegetable Risotto and Homemade Goats Cheese & Sundried Tomato Ravioli served with Courgettes and Cherry Tomatoes, alongside sumptuous deserts including White Chocolate & Raspberry Cheesecake and Zucotto Panettone to name a few.

The ultra-indulgent ‘Menu Rosso’ offers mains such as Slow Cooked Lamb Shank with Red Wine Sauce, Creamed Potatoes & Seasonal Vegetables as well Fillet of Beef Mignon with a Green Peppercorn Sauce.

Toni added: “As part of our festivities, we will also be opening our doors for Christmas Day this year to once again welcome guests on the most wonderful day of the year. Our aptly named ‘Special 51’ menu is the perfect option for those wanting to indulge and dine without the worry and the stress that comes with preparing a family feast on the big day. Our team of talented chefs will be delivering an indulgent and authentic three course menu featuring a selection of exclusive dishes derived from homegrown recipes, from Christmas classics to modern recipes. There’s something for everybody to enjoy.”

The ‘Menu Verde’ is priced at £15.95 per person, the ‘Menu Bianco’ is priced at £19.95 per person and the ‘Menu Rosso’ is priced at £29.95 per person.
