The Brink is feeling festive with special Christmas offering

Perfect for friends, families and colleagues alike, the Parr Street dry bar, which was crowned Bar of the Year at the Liverpool City Region Tourism Awards 2015, has specially prepared a delectable yuletide feast courtesy of Head Chef Paul Elackman.

With aims to create a celebration to remember for all of the right reasons, the festive menu will also be accompanied by a selection of seasonally inspired mocktails.

General Manager of The Brink Carl Bell said: “With the festive season upon us, we are thrilled to unveil our latest food and beverage offering. Each dish on the menu is inspired by traditional British yuletide cuisine with a contemporary, world-fusion twist to create truly unique flavours.

“Alongside our impressive food menu, we will also be serving up a huge range of the mocktails and non-alcoholic pitchers that we are so well known for, with both hot and cold selections perfect for the cooler season. The mocktails can be enjoyed either alone or alongside our festive dishes.”

The Christmas Menu includes a selection of starters such as Partridge Parfait with Cinnamon and Pear Compote, Oak Smoked Salmon with Potato and Chive Salad, and Goats Cheese and Cranberry Croquettes. For main courses, diners can choose from offerings including Roast Turkey with Stuffing and Duck-Fat Potatoes, Olive Oil Poached Hake Fillet with Smoked Pimento and Caramelized Red Onion and Beetroot Risotto with Kinderton-Ash Goats Cheese.

Desserts include Sober Christmas Pudding with Butterscotch Sauce, Festive Spring Roll with Chocolate Orange Dipping Sauce and English Cheeseboard served with Gourmet Toasts and Fig Chutney.

The Brink’s festive drinks menu includes a selection of hot and cold drinks such as Mulled Mixed Berry Punch, Brink Toddy, Spiced Cherry, Seasonal Sherbet and A Little Bit of Luxury.

Carl added: “Here at The Brink, we like to create a truly all inclusive environment for our guests. We look forward to celebrating the festive season in style and seeing the rest of the year out with a bang.”

The festive menu costs £14.95 for two courses and three courses costs £19.95. Full pre-payment is required for food one week prior to booking. The Brink’s festive mocktails are priced at £2.95 per glass or £9.95 per pitcher (serves four).
