With culinary offerings including locally-sourced produce from suppliers such as Traditional Wirral Turkeys and Edge & Sons Butchers, the award-winning eatery is encouraging Liverpool locals to think ahead for Christmas Day this festive season.
Proprietor of Delifonseca Candice Fonseca said: “Christmas is certainly the busiest time of the year as we rush around to pick the perfect presents, prepare for our guests and get ready to celebrate. For those hosting the Christmas Day festivities, finding the time to run back and forth from the shops to gather ingredients for the highly anticipated dinner on December 25 can be frustrating with odd ingredients often selling out, which is why we have come up with our festive pre-order system whereby our Dockside elves can do all the running around for you.
“As always, our focus is on great quality, local produce and we are proud to be serving up a range of delectable options guaranteed to make your Christmas Day menu go down a treat. From the Christmas dinner staples like turkey and sprouts to all the lovely extra indulgences such as cheese, desserts, wines and spirits, we’ve worked tirelessly in the run up to December to partner with the best suppliers from across the North West, including our very own in-house Edge & Sons Butchers.”
From Wirral white, bronze or black free-range turkeys sourced from Willaston’s Traditional Wirral Turkeys to 28 day matured ribs of beef and with all local and rare breed, there’s literally something for everybody to enjoy courtesy of Delifonseca Dockside.
Candice added: “Year on year, the turkey is the centrepiece of any Christmas table, and the farmers at Traditional Wirral Turkeys pride themselves on providing a safe and happy environment in which the turkeys grow and mature naturally, guaranteeing premium taste and quality, which sits perfectly in line with our ethos here at Delifonseca. If turkey’s not your thing, then our beef courtesy of Edge & Sons is out of this world. And let’s not forget the vegetarians on the big day – Head Chef Martin Cooper’s nut roast is a great addition to the feast.”
The last date to place a Christmas pre-order is Wednesday, December 20 and for the turkey and larger joints of meat earlier ordering is advised as stocks can sell out. Orders after this date will be considered but are subject to availability.
