Carringtons Catering to provide Christmas celebrations at Liverpool Town Hall

Carringtons Catering is providing the city’s corporates with the ideal solution for an opulent and stress-free Christmas celebration in the iconic Liverpool Town Hall.

As the Grade I listed venue’s official food and beverage providers, the independent catering firm is offering a limited number of party packages including a red carpet entrance, three-course dinner menu and entertainment.

Since its appointment in 2014, Carringtons Catering provides bespoke catering, event and hospitality services exclusive to the 18th century site.

Director of Carringtons Catering Helen Wynn said: “In recent years, we have certainly noticed a trend amongst our clients for leaving the planning of their large-scale private Christmas parties until the last minute, but they need not worry as it’s not too late.

“We understand that things can get hectic leading up to the festive period and that it can be time-consuming to source both venue and catering options, but our affiliation with Liverpool Town Hall means that guests can opt for an all-inclusive, hassle-free service. It’s both a great opportunity to treat your staff for all of their hard work over the year or to spoil your clients with a lavish night out.”


On arrival, attendees are welcomed with a Christmas Cranberry Fizz before choosing from starters such as Terrine of Chicken and Pistachio with Fig Relish, Timale of Prawn, Mango and Tomato or Cream of Quail and Woodland Mushroom Soup. For the main course, diners can select from Breast of Chicken with Cranberry Jus, Chestnuts and Browned Sprouts, Braised Shin of Beef with port wine jus, Peppercorns and Crisp Parsnips or Braised Shoulder of Lamb with Peppercorns, Chestnut Crust and Bubble and Squeak.

To finish, sweet-toothed party goers can opt for a selection of desserts including Satsuma and Caramel Mousse, Chocolate and Cherry Torte with Amaretto Custard or Iced Caramel Souffle.

Fellow Director of Carringtons Catering and Master Chef of Great Britain Darren Wynn added: “Year on year, we look forward to the festive period and this year is no exception. Our menu is choicest and indulgent within a beautiful setting, perfect for Christmas festivities, and features such as a red carpet arrival and entertainment from our DJ make for a truly special evening.
