On Sunday, March 6, the iconic venue’s Blue Lounge will be serving up a celebratory feast devised by director and Master Chef of Great Britain Darren Wynn.

The commemorative occasion will also be accompanied by musical entertainment from special guests The Night and Days.

Director of Carringtons Catering Helen Wynn said: “Year on year, we like to pay homage to mothers from across the North West with great food, drink and company at the Floral Pavilion. Its floor to ceiling windows offer an unrivalled view of the Grade II Fort Perch Rock and Liverpool Bay, making it the perfect place to take Mum to while away the afternoon ahead of a scenic backdrop.

“This year, we’re making the celebratory day extra special with the harmonious accompaniment of The Night and Days, who will be on hand to provide a relaxing atmosphere and laid back ambience with their musical melodies.”

To start, diners can tuck into either Parfait of Chicken Livers, served with Tomato Relish and Brioche Toast or Cream of Leek and Potato Soup with Chive Oil. For a main course, guests can choose from options such as Roast Beef, Yorkshire Pudding and Horseradish or Spinach and Ricotta Parcel with a Roast Tomato Coulis.

Those with a sweet tooth can opt between Chocolate and Orange Truffle or Old English Custard Tart with Nutmeg Ice Cream, which is all homemade onsite.

Helen added: “As a mother myself, I understand how important it is to make each and every Mum feel that extra bit special, which is why we have created a truly inimitable Mother’s Day offering at the Wirral venue. We’re looking forward to welcoming families from across the North West and hope they enjoy spending quality time together while treating the special ladies in their lives.”

The Mother’s Day menu is available on Sunday, March 6 in the Blue Lounge at the Floral Pavilion.

Adults can opt between three courses for £28.50 or two courses for £24.50. Children can choose between three courses for £24.50 or two courses for £20.50. Entertainment starts at 12:30pm and lunch will be served from 1:00pm. Price includes a welcome drink, dinner, entertainment and a £1.50 per ticket fee.
