The Beatles inspired restaurant, located within the award-winning Hard Days Night Hotel, has unveiled an exclusive ‘Fab Four’-course feast to be served on Saturday, February 13 and Sunday, February 14.

Couples can truly spoil one other in the opulent yet intimate eatery with a set menu featuring an eclectic selection of meat, fish and vegetarian dishes.

General Manager of Hard Days Night Hotel Mike Dewey said: “Year on year, we like treat our guests to a choicest Valentine’s celebration and this year is no exception. During the special occasion, Blakes Restaurant will be serving up an indulgent four-course menu with lavish additions including an Amuse-Bouche course.

“Valentine’s at Blakes Restaurant provides the perfect opportunity for lovers to spend some quality time together against a backdrop of some of The Beatles’ most romantic melodies.”

On arrival, guests will be treated to a glass of Belstar Prosecco Rosé before enjoying an Amuse-Bouche course of Cucumber and Elderflower Jelly with a Gin and Tonic Sorbet.

To start, diners can tuck into tasty options including Game Terrine with Crisp Bread and a Blackberry and Dark Rum Chutney, Pan Fried Chicken Liver with Baby Onion and a Port and Red Currant Reduction and Caramelised Onion and Blue Cheese Pate with Tomato Chutney. Main course dishes include 8oz Ribeye Steak served with Hand-Cut Chips, Grilled Tomato and Mushroom, Fillet of Seabass with Pearl Couscous and Pasta Salad and Deep Fried Halloumi with a Watercress and Shallot Salad and a Spiced Tomato Sauce.

Those with a sweet-tooth can look forward to sharing-style desserts such as Baked Camembert with Red Onion Marmalade and Crisp Breads for two and Salted Caramel Fondant with Blueberries, Honeycomb and Pancetta with Vanilla Ice Cream for two.

Mike added: “Once the romantic dinner is over, guests can then retire to the hotel’s stylish Bar Four afterwards to enjoy a cocktail or two, raise a toast to one another and say ‘P.S. I Love You’.”

The Valentine’s Menu is available on Saturday, February 13 and Sunday, February 14 and is priced at £49.95 per person.
