Macclesfield-based Direct Food Ingredients has strengthened their team with the appointment of eight new employees, Emma Moore, Karolina Szewczyk, Tracy Ireland, Chris Leishman, Jason Lees, Luke Renshaw, Harry Nesbit and Penny Woodward.
Emma, (33) Karolina, (35) Tracy, (50) Chris, (48) Jason (22) Luke (23) and Harry (18) have all joined the team full time, whilst Penny (17) is working on a part time basis while she finishes her studies.
With over twenty year’s experience between them, Emma, Karolina and Tracy bring a wealth of knowledge and understanding to their new roles. Emma joins the team after working for pharmaceutical company, Astra Zeneca whilst Karolina’s previous role was at Congleton-based safety equipment supplier, Airbags International.
Tracy joins the firm with a strong retail background, working for well-established brands including Next, The Range and Sanctuary Group Retirement Living.
Together the new recruits will be on hand to support Senior Administrator, Tracey Aynsley with general administrative duties at the company’s head office in Macclesfield.
Meanwhile Chris and Jason have been welcomed into the company’s IT team, with thirty years of combined industry expertise.
After graduating with a Master’s Degree from Salford University, Luke joins the company supporting their digital marketing.
Penny, who is currently studying for her A Levels in Business and Economics, and Harry are both excited to join the team and are looking forward to developing their business skills further.
